Dolomiti Alta Via 2

In Summer 2022, I circumnavigated the globe, starting with a western US road trip and tour of the Malay Peninsula. After, I flew to Europe and had some time to burn before meeting my friends Sidharth and Rajath in Venice for the Biennale. I decided to walk there. I'd take the Dolomiti Alta Via 2. Starting in the ice wine-filled valleys of South Tyrol, that strangely German-speaking semi-autonomous Italian province, I retraced WW1 supply routes (it soon became clear why they speak German) through the limestone moonscape of the high Dolomites.
